I've enjoyed Salvaggios for years, I think it's a great spot when you're in the area. I like the breakfast, especially when they have Taylor ham. I wish it was all the time on the menu though! The rolls are delicious.

Doesn't look like much, but you're gonna be pleasantly surprised! I came here around 1:30 pm for lunch. They have a special where you can get half off on cheese steaks from 2 pm until close. I tried to see if they would give the deal to me early, but the most they could do is 5 mins early. They did, however, allow me to place the order early. I just couldn't pay the half price until 5 minutes prior. I wasn't expecting much, but the cheese steak was actually very, very good. The best part about it was the BREAD! I've had plenty of cheese steaks from Philly and they slap, but not a single one had bread like this. The bread was just so soft and scrumptious. It truly elevated the cheese steak. My only criticism is the cheese wasn't oozing out of the sandwich like I would've preferred, but it was still good nonetheless. The vibe here is that of a typical deli. Come check this place out and get a cheese steak after 2!

Salvaggio's is a great place for lunch if I'm downtown in the office and I need to make a point to drop by more often since it's always so good. The way they make a breakfast sandwich is just really unique and I'm a fan. They have a pretty big selection of food too so yeh, worth a visit in my opinion. Service is decent and quick. Friendly for the most part haha It's got a pretty big seating area and yeh it's nothing fancy but it's a good lunch spot. I could eat that sandwich every week to be honest!

I only had time for a quick grab and go in downtown Denver around 17th St and Welton. I crossed the street, found myself in front of Savaggio's deli. It wasn't especially appealing from the outside, but the Philly focus of the menu, brought me in the door. II ordered a whole cheesesteak. Yes please to peppers and onions. Service was quick and I was watching fresh baked rolls coming out of the back. I also saw some construction workers ordering and receiving amazing looking breakfast sandwiches. Even at lunchtime. Looking around, the interior wasn't particularly noteworthy. Plenty of seating, but not much of a crowd. I walked back to continue on with what I was working on and dug into the cheesesteak. It was very, very good. The bread was great. Soft, very yeasty and solid holding up well to the hot steak, american cheese, onions, peppers and associated juices. It was just good. I'd planned to eat half and save the other for later. No such luck. The whole thing disappeared all too quickly.

Have eaten a lot of different kinds of Ruebens and wow love how this place makes them, the bread is nice and tasty and they top it with a homemade coleslaw! The corned beef is just perfect and tender and the potato salad was awesome! Definitely worth stopping and grabbing a quick bite, super friendly service and smells amazing inside!

I'm going to start out with this because I think everyone needs to know to get the roll as your sandwich vessel because it is huuuge!!! Now I haven't tried the cheesesteak and it is supposedly amazing, so I won't talk to that but the deli meat sandwiches are perfffffect The cold cuts are boars head, which is the best sandwich meat brand. Your sandwich gets loaded up with meats, cheeses, and you choose your toppings. Always opt for the hot peppers, they add a fantastic flavor to the sandwich! The location downtown gets bussssy during lunch hours, so plan accordingly if you need to get something fast!
